I got my first set yesterday – the geometric shapes and they are fabulous. They make matting and layering so easy and effective.
I have been pondering over getting these and have today succumbed to the squares, circles, rectangles and ovals, plain and scalloped. I love the embossed edge on them and although I have all the punches they are not always big enough for what I want and the Cricut carts I have only cut basic shapes – well those are my reasons and I am sticking to them!!! I got mine from here.
The snowflake is made from tag shapes stuck down onto vellum and then trimmed into shape. The papers are PP and the embossing is cuttlebug.
My daughter is throwing a baby shower for her friend this weekend and I was inspired by PP to make this card for her, so it is all PP papers, images etc. and coloured in DIP.
With thanks to Shary for the tips – here it is!! PP papers and greeting and stamped angels cut out and coloured in with twinkling H2O’s. The middle circle spins around and there is another angel on the other side!
I have finally managed to work out how to colour in these images in PSP with a little help from a pal! Added a touch of Sakura stardust pens too. All Pink Petticoat and the greeting is attached with my paper tagger and a mini bulldog clip from Making Memories – cute!
This is my entry, fingers crossed!!
to sell my cards!! I have had a couple of successful commissions with very positive feedback and my kids keep nagging me to sell them so I have another blog now here which I will put on my card labels so people can contact me via that if they want a custom made card. We’ll see how it goes but my son’s work colleagues have expressed great interest and so have my eldest daughter’s and she has bought some cards at work before so I know what sort of quality and price I am up against!
Saffie perched on top of the radiator cover, she sits there most of the day when the heating is on!!
Louise’s friend’s twin girls are 1 next week and she wanted them to have a card each so I made matching cards for them using Cuddly Buddly graphics.
