So 4 days after getting the email to say I had been accepted as a designer, I had my first card kit put up yesterday and sold the first one today. I have another kit pending with my digital recipe sentiments, it is so exciting!! I have also been accepted by another site as well so fingers crossed. I am having tons of ideas at the moment, to the point where I wake up at 1am with an idea in my head, not so good!!!
All digi stamps and card kits are available in the store now.
This is my bracket easel card Tea Time kit
This is my Petal Pixies square easel card kit
and these are my ‘recipe’ style sentiments.
I had an email this afternoon to say I have been accepted as a designer for Card Making Downloads, designing card kits in digital format for download!! I am over the moon, cannot wait to get started and my new greeting sentiments will be available on the site soon.
I have had another very successful week on Ebay and am going to treat myself to a graphics tablet for my design work! I may have some exciting news to share soon too so watch this space!!
I’m on a roll now! I did this one last night to add to my collection.
With and without a doodle!! You can buy them as digis in my Ebay shop, link top right corner 🙂
I have wanted to design digitally for ages but am no good at drawing 😦 I have however had a go at making some greeting sentiments. I have collected little poems and sayings over the years that I have found and took these from my extensive list so I don’t claim to have made them up but I did make them into these images using my other collection from my obsession of collecting fonts!! What do you think?
I also made some into shapes.
My little grand-daughter is getting over this awful bug doing the rounds & she was off school again today, so we had a crafting session to cheer her up a bit. I gave her this Doodlebug house and helped her to build and decorate it today. We had such fun and she was really good doing it, she added her own touches of the number on the door and the letterbox! It is for her to give as a gift and I am sure it will be loved! I know I would love one! My 3 yr old grandson was helping too, learning to cut with scissors and he has inherited his big brother’s Cuttlekids that I bought a few years back and it is so sweet watching him with it, he knows exactly what to do!!!
I had to share this with you I am soooo proud of my Laura. She has worked really hard at college especially these last 2 years doing her beauty and spa course. She went for an interview for No.1 Traveller on Tuesday for a position as a spa therapist at the new lounge opening in the North Terminal at Gatwick in May, she just got the call this afternoon to offer her the job!!!! This is her first ‘proper’ job doing what she loves most of all and the interview was very intense and they surprised her and asked her to do a treatment during the interview but she remained calm and sailed through it. I cannot believe it, she so deserves this, well done my darling. Hope it is everything you want it to be. xxx
