A very quick but pretty card using digi and real elements from Prima Hybrid and a metal spacer from my stash for the centre of the flower.

National Scrapbooking Day

Oh my goodness all the digi stores have had mega sales because of NSD so I spent a lot of yesterday shopping!! I got some gorgeous stuff and this is from Niwit’s Bear Necessities kit.

With thanks to my pal Dawn for the original idea for this card. I have slightly altered it but the layering is all Dawn’s idea! Gorgeous papers from Krista the ribbon and buckle from my stash and I coloured Edwin with copic markers.

Photoshop

I have really got into hybrid card making just lately and found some great actions using Photoshop Elements so have challenged myself over the last few days to learn PSE!! I have always opted for the easy route using Digital Image Pro up until now but you can do so much more in PSE. It has been a bit of a struggle but I am getting there!! This is my first attempt at a card base for a hybrid card and I am quite pleased, I will post the finished card later.

Tilda challenge card – Hybrid card

This is my entry for the Tilda challenge blog. I love these stamps and have been experimenting with colouring them in. This one is done with Copics, they are lovely and make such a smooth and rich colour. This is also my first Hybrid card as the backing paper is digital with digital stitching and the rest is ‘real’!!
